The Great British Country Fête – Drum Theatre, Plymouth
The Bush Theatre Presents a Latitude Festival Commission.
Following on from last year’s suddenlossofdignity.com, the Bush Theatre returns to the Drum with a field full of
feisty fun and village politics. A British institution – the country fete. Home to fascist jam makers, murderous
marrow growers, ‘special’ Brownies and enough bunting to cause a national fabric shortage. It’s a pillar of
country life, a melting pot of personalities, and the British summer wouldn’t be the same without it.
Join the Bush for a feted day. Skittles will scatter, some fruit will spoil, and someone will tread dog poo through
the tea tent. Do not shy away, but come coconuting along to this irresistible summer punch of stories and
song.
Russell Kane, famous nationwide for his Perrier award nominated standup shows and his hilarious Fakespeare
plays, teams up with award winning composer and lyricist Michael Bruce and Bush Associate Director Anthea
Williams (suddenlossofdignity.com).

BSO Concerts Special Programme
Issued 27 June 2010
Please find below a special Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) programme to allow bookings to be made for the forthcoming concert season.
We are being asked by the BSO to do things differently for two reasons:
1. The Northcott is in receivership and not acting as the ticket agent for BSO
2. The Great Hall is not available for this coming season and thus they are using Exeter Cathedral which has only two thirds of the capacity of the Great Hall.
BSO will only accept firm bookings, i.e. payment with order. This is not the normal way we do business but if we want to go to the concerts we have no choice. We are therefore sending this special order form out – for the entire season. If we get enough people for a concert we will order (and pay for) each concert and book the
corresponding coach.
To beat the rush when tickets go on sale to the public we have had to impose a deadline of
July 7. So please respond by return...usual rules apply. One cheque and booking slip per concert please. We will be banking cheques for each concert if there are sufficient numbers to make the event viable - there can be no refunds after that takes place I'm afraid.
Please note that the BSO are not doing a Viennese concert in Exeter in the New year but they are performing Handel's Messiah just before Xmas!
All performances are priced at £30 for a middle nave seat at Exeter Cathedral and a seat on the 21 seat coach.....the
Club Deadline for ALL concerts is
7 July.
Please note that this is your only chance for this BSO concert season!
